Photographic documentation of 20 women wearing transformed wedding dresses to explore and represent their various experiences in marriage and their notions of romantic love.

This project explores the way in which our social and individual identities are constantly affected by gender stereotypes, offering a creative way to resist these socially imposed female roles. From our personal experiences we propose a collective vision of what it means to be a wife, a mother and a "woman" today.
